There are four main characters in Until the Deep Water Stills. The narrative moves from the perspective of one character to another on a chapter by chapter basis. Each chapter in the novel has a corresponding entry on this blog. Here is a brief synopsis of the characters’ on-line identities.

Katherine’s Photo Journal: Katherine records her innermost thoughts along with photographs that bring them to life. She puzzles through her deteriorating relationship with her husband Jayce as well as a secret relationship that begins to spiral out of control.

Jayce’s Diary: An ongoing monologue exists in Jayce’s mind in which he rationalizes his increasingly destructive behaviour while a recurring dream torments him. Jayce’s Diary is available in text format and as audio recordings.

Bryan‘s Blog: Bryan hides behind a pseudonym to work through his grief over the death of his daughter and dissect his struggling marriage while battling a temptation that points him in a direction he is afraid to go in.

Faith’s Letters to Her Mother: Faith writes un-mailed letters to the mother she never knew as she fights public opinion to realize her vision all the while pondering a life altering decision. Faith’s letters are available in text format as well as audio recordings.
