Hmmm, are we living simultaneously in the past, the present and the future?
On my morning commute I pass a small graveyard landlocked in the midst of a bustling industrial area. A living relic of the past. It would have been comparatively easy to relocate the gravestones and put the land to commercial use. Run roughshod over the memories and violate the sacred ground.
But someone chose not to. Someone chose to say no to the developers who are poised to snatch up every square inch of available real estate.
Why? Because in this graveyard there are headstones that were painstakingly engraved and reverently placed long before most of us took our first breath. They will remain long after all of us are dust.
Graveyards are not just about honouring the past. They draw a line through time from our ancestry to the present and onward to future generations who will inherit our morality. Our bodies are mortal but our hearts and souls are eternal.
Graveyard stones – a random act of metaphor for the immortality of the human spirit.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
